Thailand uses a 220v power supply, the same as Britain’s but double the United States’ 110v supply, so it is best to check if your electrical items will safely take this supply. Adapters to change your plug to Asia’s two pin plugs are available at the airport but are cheaper in 7/11 stores (there’s always one within walking distance of you in Bangkok). Adapters are very difficult to find in the countryside though.
